Joe Biden’s appointee, “Rachel” Levine, for Assistant Secretary of Health (HHS) would not deny that so-called “transgender treatments” for children are acceptable in an exchange with Senator Rand Paul recently. The fact that this person is the best that the Democrats can come up with for this top government position is disturbing by itself. But I digress. The whole discourse on sex change and child abuse actually caught me off guard. Is this a real thing?
It turns out it is, actually, and is gaining a fast tracking momentum of acceptance. But, isn’t this child abuse or am I too narrow minded thinking?
Is a sex change child abuse?
Ben Carson, a world famous pediatric neurosurgeon, in a recent interview calling such life-rending treatments “child abuse” thinks so. Also does many other medical professionals as it turns out. At the very least, common sense should tell us that mutilating a child in development is wrong. And yet it’s a fast growing ideology, and practice, in the medical world with agenda based research fueling it’s growth.
It’s a feeling. MUSS.
Made-Up Sexual Status (MUSS, or “transgender”) is a real ideology towards children it turns out. I was not aware of the term until I started doing some research for this article. My guess is you hadn’t either. What I found is that, to date, there’s no apparent real science behind the MUSS movement for children. It’s more of a child’s own declaration and feelings than anything.
“There’s actually nothing like a brain scan, or genetic / blood-chemistry test, that is performed on sex-confused children to “confirm” that their problem has any biological basis, as the MUSS activists claim. Instead a “gender dysphoria” diagnosis is made solely based on feelings.” – The New American
It’s harmful. It’s permanent. It’s getting more popular.
National Review just documented, many youths have had so-called “gender-reassignment treatments,” suffered irreparable harm, and regretted their “decisions.” And such kids have a tragically high suicide rate.
Even so, the transgender movement is gaining momentum in the medical community as well as our culture with a deeply flawed narrative. In an article by Daily Signal, Dr. Michelle Cretella says the scientific research and facts tell a different story.
Here are 6 facts to think about:
For a more detailed explanation of these facts read: “I’m a Pediatrician. How Transgender Ideology Has Infiltrated My Field and Produced Large-Scale Child Abuse.”
1. Twin studies prove no one is born “trapped in the body of the wrong sex.”
2. Gender identity is malleable, especially in young children.
3. Puberty blockers for gender dysphoria have not been proven safe.
4. Cross-sex hormones are associated with dangerous health risks.
5. Neuroscience shows that adolescents lack the adult capacity needed for risk assessment.
6. There is no proof that affirmation prevents suicide in children.
A leftist mission. They sexualize everything.
Leftists sexualize everything, including children, and try to normalize this crazy notion that minors can embark upon a MUSS “transition.” Heaven forbid that when conservatives with any lick of common sense and medical proof dare to complain and push back, they’re condemned for their lack of compassion. They’re attacked viciously many times losing their jobs. Cancel culture at it’s worse.
Today’s institutions that promote transgender treatment are pushing children to impersonate the opposite sex, sending many of them down the path of puberty blockers, sterilization, the removal of healthy body parts, and untold psychological damage.

This is child abuse.
“Any reasonable medical professional should demand an immediate end to the use of pubertal suppression, cross-sex hormones, and sex reassignment surgeries in children and adolescents, as well as an end to promoting gender ideology via school curricula and legislative policies.”
As Dr. Crettela put it so well, “It is time for our nation’s leaders and the silent majority of health professionals to learn exactly what is happening to our children, and unite to take action.”
We have to take a stand no matter how uncomfortable it is. We are not being narrow minded but have to be valiant in this cause. We need to protect our posterity.
